Ben Joseph, FNP-BC, is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with over 30 years of clinical experience providing comprehensive, compassionate care to patients across the lifespan—from newborns through older adults.
Ben brings a deep and diverse clinical background shaped by decades of practice in both high-acuity hospital environments and outpatient primary care settings. His experience includes Trauma ICU, Medical and Surgical Intensive Care Units, Coronary Care, Emergency Medicine, Urgent Care, Occupational Medicine, Family Practice, and extensive work supporting newborn and pediatric care. This breadth of experience allows him to manage complex medical conditions while also delivering attentive, preventive, and developmentally appropriate care for infants, children, adolescents, adults, and seniors.
At Vista Health System, Ben provides comprehensive family medicine with a strong emphasis on newborn care, pediatrics, preventive health, chronic disease management, patient education, and continuity of care. He is known for his calm, attentive approach and his commitment to ensuring patients and families feel heard, informed, and supported. Annual Physicals & Wellness Exams
Preventive health evaluations focused on early detection, risk assessment, and long-term wellness, including Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH)–required school physicals, sports physicals, immunization reviews, vision and hearing screenings, and completion of state and school health forms.
