Why did you want to become a physician/provider? Following my mother Dr. Suad AlSaffar career path and growing up seeing how valuable , rewarding and precious to gain patient's trust and appreciation.
What is your favorite part of your job? Caring for patients who are having heart attacks and heart failure. Saving lives with acute heart attacks timely urgent intervention with cardiac catheterization. Caring for patient with failing hearts and cardiogenic shock.
Why do you like working in Lake County/northern suburbs? Diverse patients population and diverse cardiovascular comorbidities.
What is one thing you have learned by being a doctor/provider? During illness human beings are very vulnerable and being sick not knowing or understanding your pathology is very worrying.
